Animal: Zebra

Why this Animal?
I chose zebra's because they have a unique pelt. You will not see them in North America, unless you are at a zoo. Every single zebra has it's own unique pattern, just like how every human's fingerprints are different. They all live in small groups but all groups are part of a bigger herd, which is like families living in a town. I also wanted to find out what makes their pelts so unique, scientists aren't sure why but they have many theories. One of these theories is that it is a camoflague, with this pattern it is hard for predators to identify one animal from a running herd. Another theory is that it helps other zebras recogonize each other.
